Aqua bugs!
Our kids scuba program called Aqua Bugs runs on Saturday evenings in Bettws Active Living Centre Newport NP20 7YB
The minimum age to scuba is 8 for the pool and 10 for Open Water
Junior Try Dive
A 30 – 45 minute Try Dive is £5 to see if they like it. Thereafter they can do pool sessions at £15 each which are up to 90 mins long. However Try dives and pool sessions don’t count towards a qualification.
PADI Seals
Children can do PADI SEALS from age 8 which costs £145 for 15 pool sessions and includes the PADI manual and all equipment.
Junior PADI Scuba Diver
From age 10 they can do the Junior PADI Scuba Diver qualification which includes pool training, some theory and one days open water diving. The cost is £175 which is fully inclusive of PADI manual and pack, all equipment and entry fees to the dive site.
Junior PADI Open Water
Children from age 10 they can also do Junior PADI Open Water qualification which includes pool training, some theory and two days open water diving. The cost is £315 which is fully inclusive of PADI manual and pack, all equipment and entry fees to the dive sites.
